A two-day course aimed at junior ecologists and  environmental professionals.

This on-site course encompasses: 

• The theory and practice of Bat surveying .

• Ecology and breeding specifics

• Report writing

• Legislation protecting bats in the UK

• Health and safety

• The theory and practice of surveying trees

• A site visit will be made to Thornton Abbey during the afternoon session to carry out a practical survey of multiple bat species.

0930am -  4.30pm and evening surveys (Weather permitting) 

Course cost - £175.00
 

Certificates will be isssued to persons who successfully complete the course.

Refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own packed lunch, outdoor clothing, Binoculars and appropriate footwear.
