This on-site course encompasses: 

• Ecology of Newts.

• Breeding specifics. 

• Legislation. 

• Surveying / Presence and absence signs. 

• Mitigation and translocation project work. 

• Fencing and compensation habitat. 

• A site visit to a Great Crested Newt habitat to carry out a survey.

0930am -  4.30pm plus evening surveying

Certificates will be isssued to persons who successfully complete the course.

Course cost - £175

efreshments will be provided

Please bring your own packed lunch, outdoor clothing,

Wellingtons and waders if possible.

You will also require a torch.
